Jordi Bouman joined De Issuemakers in 2015. He studied History: which was the result rather than the cause of his broad interest in what happening in the world around him. Jordi is especially interested in political and societal developments viewed from a cross-border perspective, which explains his masters’ degree in German Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
Jordi’s background is in corporate, financial and crisis communications, but following his move to De Issuemakers his field of work has increasingly comprised issues management and public affairs. Jordi, a native English speaker, has developed deep experience advising international organizations in their dealings with Dutch stakeholders.
Jordi is the co-author of two books of two books on communications, ‘Het Nieuwe Media Handboek’ and ‘Code Sociale Media’. At De Issuemakers, Jordi advises a variety of clients, including Rabobank, KidsRights and Nefemed. Jordi is also part of various public affairs projects.
