Emma started as a trainee at Issuemakers in February 2022 and has been working as an advisor since September 2022.
At Issuemakers, Emma works for various clients. Her work varies from guidance in public affairs and campaign processes to stakeholder engagement and writing key messages. With a background in political communication (Msc), she understands (the importance of) the relationship between politics, citizens and media and how to influence this. She has also worked in the education sector, where as manager of an education support organization she has campaigned for quality and equality of opportunity in education.
Which issue does this Issuemaker regularly work on?
Issues that are close to Emma's heart are equality of opportunity, climate and loneliness. For example, Emma worked weekly for vulnerable elderly people through the Thuisgekookt Foundation, by cooking for them once a week.
