Bio
Peter is a senior advisor and sector manager. He carries out assignments for government, healthcare, public sector, agro-business and international organizationssettings. He focuses on that among other on themes such as public (digital) services, innovation, public-private partnerships, social issues and trust in democratic institutions.
He has a long experience in communication in the public sector and in government. Peter was among other things Director of Communications at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment for more than eight years. He was responsible for the entire communication of the ministry (spokesmanship, communication advice, social media, external performances, public information). Then it worked hij to start 2019 as quartermaster Director of Communications at the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. There he set up the new communications directorate. In his career he previously worked as editor-in-chief of Zorgvisie and as an organizational consultant at Andersson Elffers Felix and as spokesperson for the Minister and State Secretary of Health, Welfare and Sport.
Pieter is also a board member of the Dutch Debate Institute Foundation.
