Issue conference June 16, 2022

Roos Vonk is a professor of psychology, speaker and author in the areas of leadership, motivation, power, emotions, self-knowledge and the first impression. She is convinced that people can be much more fun and effective if they have more insight into the workings of their own psyche and that of others. And can also explain why we sometimes find do-gooders so annoying. Why do we feel resistance to behavioral change on issues with a moral charge, such as climate or eating meat? Why do we know what is good, but we often do something else? And how do you, as an “activist on a mission”, nevertheless stay the course, relentlessly focused on realizing ideals, even if the reactions are not always what you hoped or expected?

Roos likes to write and speak with a wink about our human weaknesses and will challenge us on June 16 during the Issue Congress in Amsterdam, among other things, to further develop our “better half”. Together with other speakers, she gives substance to the theme World Improvers. Would you like to be present during this conference to hear Roos and other world improvers speak? Our conference starts at 1:00 PM and you can register by sending an email to
