We are Issue Makers; strategic communications advisors, with a strong sense of content. Together with our clients, we formulate or refine social ambitions and then translate them into a positive impact for organizations and society. In this way we work on connecting our clients to society and help to accelerate social transitions. Together with clients we work on solutions for the challenges of today and those of the future. We do this on the basis of issue intelligence and by managing and creating issues. And based on a broad, discipline-transcending approach.

And we are looking for you! A new colleague, at the start of her/his career or with a number of years of relevant work experience, who wants to work together with colleagues for our clients. Good at monitoring and analyzing information, making plans, providing advice, implementation and project management. A colleague who shares new knowledge and insights, who keeps us on our toes with regard to trends and hypes, who enjoys talking about this with colleagues and who also likes to participate in organizing our own events such as the Issue Congress or the Issue Lecture.

But above all, we are looking for a new colleague who loves her or his profession and wants to learn a lot. Who, like us, can be very serious, but also enjoys having lunch together and exchanging the latest developments. And who wants to deliver impactful work for – and together with – wonderful clients. We strive to ensure that our team increasingly better represents the society we work for. So we are looking for a colleague who complements our team.

What are you going to do with us?

No day is the same. Sometimes you are busy with 1 or 2 large assignments, sometimes perhaps with 5 smaller ones at the same time. Sometimes it means standing still for a moment, but more often it means running together for a customer. Your planning sometimes needs to be revised, because a client requires this urgently. We are looking for a junior / medior colleague who likes that and who can do that.

In addition, we are quite sure that this will at least be part of your job with us:

  • You write (with the help of a colleague) action plans and prepare quotations.
  • You advise clients on social and political issues.
  • You carry out (part of) the work independently within assignments.
  • You map issues by collecting information and data and interpreting them.
  • You monitor and analyze sources and documents so that clients can continue with them
  • You strengthen the quality of our work across the board by sharing knowledge and working together.
  • You continue to develop.

What do we expect from you?

  • Social involvement, interest in the world around you and the issues behind the news.
  • Experience in/interest in/knowledge of: public affairs, crisis communication, public relations, media, stakeholder management, reputation management, influencing behavior.
  • Analytical thinking skills and good at realizing plans and ideas.
  • Strong sense of responsibility regarding your work and realizing clients' wishes.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Experience working for/at an agency is an advantage.
  • Inspiration, collegiality, critical feedback, fun and enthusiasm.
  • Good command of both the Dutch and English languages.
