Do you address social and political issues? On private and public clients who want to increase their impact and reputation? And do you supplement those passions with broad knowledge of, for example, public affairs, media, public relations, crisis communication, stakeholder management and/or reputation management? Then we may soon be your new colleagues!

We are Issue Makers; strategic communications advisors, with a strong sense of content. Together with our clients, we formulate or refine social ambitions and then translate them into a positive impact for organizations and society. In this way we want to help accelerate social transitions. Together with clients who want to have an impact, we work on solutions for the challenges of today and the future. We do this by monitoring, managing and creating issues. And based on a broad, discipline-transcending approach.

And we are looking for you! A new colleague who can and wants to have final strategic responsibility for several clients, who enjoys advising himself and setting the course for a client and the internal team. Who is good at strategic advice, providing feedback, staying on course and time and financial management within assignments. A colleague who also knows how to generate leads, with solid agency experience, who shares new knowledge and insights, who also likes to participate in his own events such as the Issue Conference or the Issue Lecture and preferably also has some management experience.

But above all, we are looking for a new colleague who is crazy about her or his profession. Who, like us, can be very serious, but also enjoys having lunch together and exchanging the latest “juice”. And who wants to deliver impactful work for and together with wonderful clients. We strive to ensure that our team increasingly better represents the society we work for. So we are looking for someone to complement our team.

What are you going to do with us?

No day is the same. Sometimes you are busy with 1 or 2 large assignments, sometimes perhaps with 5 smaller ones at the same time. Sometimes it takes a moment to pause; on other days we run together for a customer. Your planning sometimes needs to be revised, because a client requires this urgently. We are looking for a senior colleague who likes that and who can do that.

In addition, we are quite sure that this will at least be part of your job with us:

  • You develop strategies and ideas, write action plans and prepare quotations.
  • You advise clients on social and political issues.
  • You coach, guide and direct younger colleagues on assignments.
  • You carry out part of the work within assignments yourself.
  • You challenge clients and inspire them to position their organization socially.
  • You strengthen the quality of our work across the board by sharing knowledge and working together.
  • You maintain contacts, build a network and help generate new business.
  • You continue to develop and expand the agency's ideas together with us.

What can you expect from us?

  • That we try to live up to our strong and distinctive positioning every day.
  • That we offer you a challenging working environment and mutual collegiality and involvement.
  • A safe working environment with an eye for diversity and inclusion, a clear policy regarding inappropriate behavior and open conversations about these topics.
  • Conversations about social and political developments (and sometimes about completely different matters)
  • That we prefer to deploy you at the dividing line between communication, policy and strategy.
  • That we challenge you to think about and build the strategy, development and future of the agency.
  • That we are open to your feedback and ideas, so that we can grow together.
  • A competitive salary, flexibility in where you work and collaboration with great colleagues.

What do we expect from you?

  • Social involvement, interest in politics, society and issues behind the news.
  • Broad experience in at least two of the following areas: public affairs, crisis communication, public relations, media, stakeholder management, reputation management and behavioral influence.
  • Analytical thinking skills that you can use for strategic, creative advice.
  • Strong sense of responsibility for your own work and that of advisors you work with + experience in coaching and guiding colleagues.
  • Experience with process and financial project management.
  • Experience working for/at an agency and as a consultant.
  • Inspiration, collegiality, critical feedback, fun and enthusiasm.
  • Good command of both the Dutch and English languages.

And? Are you that great addition to our team? Then we look forward to receiving your application letter and CV! Do you have a nice case or an appealing example that you would like to send? We are curious!

You can send your application until July 28 to and you will hear by August 2 at the latest whether you are invited for an interview. Because it is the middle of the holiday period for many, we can also do this conversation online. If you have a question or if you are unable to make it to the holiday dates, you can email the same address or call Sybrig van Keep on 020-345 5088. If you cannot make it to the date mentioned, do not hesitate to call.

We look forward to your response!
